want to turbocharge and need guidance!!!!

i have a 1992 nissan 240sx. its a ka24de i believe, know its ka24, anyways i have a turbo dodge daytonaa and bought a new turbo for it. well i sold it and bought the 240 without ever putting the new turbo on. all i have is the full turbo assembly. the compressor side, exhaust, and wheel, and stock wastegate. ok now i know the best performance is with an iintercooler put i have never owned a non turbo car from the factory so i dont know how to iinstall on this nor neediing an intercooler. ok on the dodghe the turbo is water and oil cooled. its good up to 18psi. so how and wich lines do i duct for the cooliing, and where should i route new vaccum lines. and finally how do i hook this up to the exhaust, not much room from what i see, and intake it for the compressor side. if it helps u like maybe u know nothiing about these turbos, it is a t1 mitsubishi "not garret" very responsive and quick spool. it is ball bearing. and the compressor side is around 2.5 to 3 iinches in diameter. i live in murfreesboro tn if their is anyone close to help with engine swaps and turbochargiing, customiziiing and raciiing at the track. anyone interested in helpiing call 1-615-893-6325. or email at teamrpm03@hotmail.com well thanks for readiing and any help is truly appreciated, dont look at it as wasting ure time cause i am a very enthused nissan fan and turbo fan.

Do a search on this and find more answers. I ll help with a few. I would most definately intercool that sucker. Those temps from the turbo are really friggin hot. You will need a turbo manifold, line from the turbo bearing oil return line to the oil pan, a line going from the oil in line to the oil pressure sensor line. I couldn't tell you about the vacuum lines. On the stock KA24DE(which is what you have)you can run 7-9 psi boost safely. The other questions you got, just search or someone else will know

I'm a little lost on your thread. I would hope you are asking for help with boosting your ka with the turbo you didn't get to put on your daytona. If so, yes you need to have an intercooler. It's just the smart thing to do. On the ka there should be plenty of room to run your downpipe.

well hey ive seen many 240's with the intercooler laid atop the radiator and going to the valve cover, is there a problem with running these front mounted in front of the radiator in that gigantic air dam. and another my friends are fans of the ford probe gt. the are equipped with a 2.5 litre quadcam v6. fast and about 600 pounds lighter than the 240. they have around id say 164 hp to the wheels. i cant find anywhere for specs on these things. like 1/4 mile time, 0-60 time, gear ratios, and really important factors like torque to power ratios and weight ot power ratios and things. and is there any videos on this site or other sites with the turbo 240 in action. oh and if anyone knows the motor weight thatll be cool too. thanks for the help guys later. oh and any racer chicks on the 240 site? many other racer chicks on probetalk.com need to know. and finally do u guys have 240 meets where we can go to the strip or something and if they are in tennessee? i live in murfreesboro.

Boosting safely with 6-9 lbs on a stock 240 will net 200-250 hp and about the same in torque numbers. Putting the intercooler in front of the radiator doesn't hurt it's ability too much.
