Thumbs up Going to Turbocharge my 1995 240sx

I'm going to purchase this kit:

http://import-autoperformance.com/240sxstage1.html

I spoke to the guys and they seem very knowledgible(spelling?) and very professional. My engine has 64,666 miles in it now and runs great! The kit produces 7psi and about 225 HP and about the same torque at the WHEELS at that boost. I will install a boost controller and upgrade the ECU, injectors, MAF and fuel system too. They said that the KA24DE engine remains very reliable at even a 15 pounds of boost which would yield about 300hp. They claim their stage 2 240sx scores at about 460+ Hp...it's very expensive though!!!

Does anyone who live in the Los Angeles area know of a good and repubable place where I can get the kit installed once I get it? My ACT clutch is coming in soon too, i can do that myself though. thx!!

that kit does look pretty nice....just a little pricey to me
if you can throw a clutch on without a problem i would think youd be able to handle the majority of the kit install.
good luck though...im jealous

I know the guys at Jspec.com do installs on SR Swaps....call them up they may be able to help you out or atleast refer you to a local shop that does. The LA area seems to be the mecca for import tuning shops. There are ALOT of places you can go down there.

I've got my eye on that turbo kit too. I'm really happy for you! (jealous) Let me (and I imagine the rest of us too) know how it works once you get it. Read their installation manual on the Stage 1 kit, it looks somewhat doable from home IMO.
