the only problem, is its not the basic stuff that you should be worried about. Its the little stuff like oil fittings, ect.

But yea, do some searching...its out there. I would recommened a kit, such as the Greddy Kit.

A kit is best if you don't know how to put one together. Read "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell and you may get deeper insight as to what you need.

what terbo said about the little stuff. if you're asking questions like that your best bet would be to educate yourself and read read read. then you will know what you need instead of wondering and asking. that way you can assess your own problems instead of waiting for one to come up.

This web site really helped me out to picture it better. I read maximun boost but had a hard time picturing it all in my head. If u want to know the BASIC hardware and install here is a great site I stumbled on. I know its not for a nissan but it should be the same basic stuff

Don't you need an ECU mod to handle the boost? I know the stock one won't manage the new settings for crap.

all you need is an 8:1 FMU and running 8psi you will be perfectly fine. after 8psi, you should get an ECU tuned, and maybe the S-AFC to manage that air and fuel. Also when you get the FMU, get the Z32 fuel filter. DONT forget to get that. When you run more boost, just upgrade with fuel rail, injectors, and you can get all these parts for your custom KA-T at www.boostdesigns.com

if ur worried about ur ecu and u know about tech stuff here is a web-site that has a program that can help u to reprogram ur computer ,cus fmu's are really just band aides. (zcontrol.net) is the web-site that has the program, the program is called srtalk and is suppossed to work with any nissan 4 banger. its still in beta testing so it hasn't had all the kinks worked out from what I have heard.
