50% chance i'll be there.. last time we went down to daygo one of our cars got a full list of fix its and violations.. ended up having to go to a referee station.. grrr... they picked off cars leaving the lot from a single file line leaving the lot...

the police officer said.. they're allowed to do whatever they want because its on 'public' property and that they could have towed the cars right from the show if they wanted to. grrr...

hm.. i wonder if they're just going to keep their cars here in the states.. someone smushed the rear end of kazama's blue s15 at d1.. hope it doesnt get fixed only to get smushed again.. hehe.. yea the last drift showoff was a trip.. koguchi and the signal auto guys really put on a show.... can't wait...

yeah, i heard at HIN in SD the cops cracked down on that stuff. not sure if showoff will have the same problem though. usually, the crowd is a lot more mellow.

ill be going to the drift showoff here in diego. and yes expect the cops to set up a "check point" they have made it a habit at doing it at all car shows now. the most recent show at coors amphitheater was the same thing cops giving silly tixs. just got to know the special exits at ole del mar.-dave

Hello everyone,

A newbie here...going to be getting a 240 in a week...from Hawaii and plan to go to the Drift Showoff on the 28th. Our company may have a booth over there. If anyone goes check us out.

hmmm El Cajon car shows on every wed dont seem like Cops are mean there, I see a lot of cars that could probably get a lot of violations, maybe they dont because most are domestics, I drove between Pine Valley to el cajon almost everyday for school and regular goofing off in my camaro without a muffler for at least a month, I only got pulled over once and that was the nite 2fast 2 furious came out so I was out "rice hunting" too bad it was rainy and stuff, he just told me to get my car fixed and he didnt hassle me anymore. but there are a few imports at the el cajon show, and a lot more go just to cruise by, I never see anybody pulled over anywhere near the show.
