install day this tuesday (so.cal)

as you all may know, i did something stupid and payed for it by not
having a driveable car for a month, but now all my patience and saving
then spending money has paid off.. Next tuesday, every one who has
tools or the will to help out his fellow 240 driver is invited next
tuesday for the install of my tie rods, tension rods, tanabe spring,
and hot shot header. there will be soda and pizza and chips, we can
watch drifting dvd's or freaking have a barbeeque if everyone brings
something (pizza soda chips i can do, steak cheeseburgurs chicken
stuff i cannot :-P but i have a bad *** grill)

i dont have tools thats why i invite people

already 87...dan said he will bring his air tools *i suppose he has a mobile compressor*

but the more help the marryer

btw im in mira mesa and i think were starting around 12ish

if you wanna come post here, and PM for directions

...it's kinda far plus work so instead I'll give some suggestions so I can help you out "in spirit":

1- Don't forget a large breaker bar for the front struts... those two bolts down below are a pain to loosen up

2- Anti-seize for the header bolts once the new header is on (even if it isn't aluminum, makes it easier to remove if you have to)

3- Penetrating oil (for those bolts/nuts that seem welded tight)

4- Take your time.

wee

day one of tech day went worse then i expected, i should of been done tonight but the bolt that holds the tension rod in on the driver side just wont budge, and all i was able to do was install the tanabae springs... man thats freaking hard...

the tie rods/tension rods might go intomarrow, if not the header will definatly go in, and if i can get a certian exhaust then that will be in aswell..
