Mountain run!

All you mountain road fanatics have to take this run....250+ miles of twisties. From Lake view terrace to Big bear(the back roads, no cops and not a lot of traffic)

Small list of roads we took(me and a fellow Miata)

Little Tujunga Cyn. to Soledad Cyn. to Aliso Cyn. to Angeles Forest Hwy. to Upper Big Tujunga Hwy. to Angeles Crest Hwy. to Silverwood Lake to Crestline to Back side of Arrowhead lake and on to Big Bear by way of Fawnskin..

I plan on taking this run again in July, but with new tires and a good alignment.

Few pics....It's hard taking pics at 55+mph and trying to stay on the road lol.

We have to set something up guys! We have to have a mountain run one of these days, an all day thing!

Have you even been to Azuza Canyons and took the GMR road up to the mountain? It's pretty crazy.

Awhile ago, but I didn't drive so it wasn't as good.

You have a map of the whole run. It'd be nice to see the roads. But yeah, sounds like fun, I just want new shocks/struts and I'll be set.

Huh... I've only seen a group of 240s come out of there once, and well, one came out in really bad shape. They left it on the street on the way out. I mostly see bikers and offroaders go up there constantly, but that'd be fun. It's a high speed canyon.

Oh, question... what is everyone gonna be doing on the mountain run, just driving on the roads, drifting, or blazing through as fast as you can. Cause I know not everyone drifts and some just wanna drive through it for fun without testing thier abilities.

Ive seen Supra's, BMW's and Audi's go up and out of GMR.

BTW...I take the turns hard, but purely grip. I "accidently" drifted going up the 18(I'm pretty sure it was the 18), gatta love power over lol

Cool, so it's basically a grip run. I'm up for that then.

IMO: Azusa is pretty ez, but the way to GMR is CRAZY. i think Angeles Crest is harder then Azusa. just my opinion.

anyways... wats up with all the canyon talk lately?
Am i finally gonna see some cars out there? or do i have to wait till GMR is open? I also think a Canyon Cruise sounds like a fun idea.
