Anyone have 18x8's ???

I got a set of 18x8's and I'm ordering tires this week. I know a 215 35 ZR18 will fit no prob, but I rather have 225's (8.865 inchs wide). Im just not sure if they will fit though.

If you have 18x8's let me know what size your rolling on please.

18x8 is not the ideal size for the 240sx. It's not even worthy for the front of an S-chassis.

If you need tire sizes...215's are fine. People stretch 215's on x9's all day long. I would highly recommend you sell your wheels to a suby or mitsu AWD owner and pony up for a staggered set up. You could also get spacers, but that defeats the whole purpose of having a RWD car that can support low offsets.

Ok....... I did not ask that, but Ill respond. My S Chassis is not normal. Its heavily modified. ie suspension, frame mods, crossmembers, subframe. You dont have to worry about if they will fit. They do, my question was only about the size of the tire on a 8inch wide wheel.

So once again if you have an 18x8 wheel, please let me know what tire size you are using if you don't mind.

Sorry I misconstrued your question with my response.

If you are running an LS6, would the 8's be enough to keep the power on the ground?

I believe 245's would be okay on the wheels. You can always go to the tire manufacturer's site and see what they recommend wrapping their tire sizes on.

Thank you
Chris

Bro 18x8?
arent you rocking a 400HP LS motor?
Why not go bigger? 18x8 is like sportmax budget wheel size.

Yeah, I also think that 9J should be your minimum size. Those 8J's are gonna look silly after people hear the roar of your LS
