S14 Offset Range

What is the range of offsets that will work on an s14? I'd like to run either 18x8 18x9's or 19x8 19x9's but I really don't know anything about offset. Is there a minimum and maximum offset for s14's? Also, can you roll and pull a fender without ruining the paint? Or do you have to do it to the bare metal? Thanks

offset is relative to width.

and wheel fitment is really a personal choice.

There are a lot of threads about this. Search is your friend. With proper offset 8 inch wide wheels will work no problem on an s14, will clear coils, no rubbing and require no fender roll/pull. I have some oz wheels that come as an option on a s15, 17x8 33 offset. On my s14 and it looks pretty good. Pretty flush and similar fit to the stock (on SE) 16x6.5 +40 stock wheels. 9 inch wides will require some roll pull.

We need a lot more to work with here. Such as front or rear, tire size, purpose/use for car, body mods, desired look, camber, etc

People have used anywhere from - 25ish to +45ish that I have seen. But that means nothing without all the information above.

To give you some idea, a 9.5" wide wheel with a +25 offset is a fairly safe, yet basically flush rear fitment for a stock body/alignment s14. Generally speaking, you go an inch less in width for the front on the same offset.

Thanks for the great info CharlesJ. My bad on the lack of info. Everything is nearly stock so far except the SR20DET. I'd like to run Blitz Technospeed 18x8 in front and 18x9 in rear. I plan on getting the wheels used from a japanese exporter, so I don't really have the option of choosing an exact offset (which is why I was hoping to find an ideal range). I am also planning on putting the nismo kit from the 270R on. As far as fitment, I want my wheels to be HELLAFLUSH lol. I will be driving the car daily and would like to drift occasionally (which will most likely turn into daily lol). As far as tire size, I'd like to run whatever fills out the wheel wells without the top of the tire hiding behind the fender. Hope this makes things easier

I ran 18x9 +12 Motegi Touges on all 4 corners on my s14 last summer with just a minor rear fender roll. I ran 225/40s in the front and 245/40s in the rear. I can post pics if needed.

you are going to want a bare minimum of low 20s offset, but preferably low teens. Same offset front and rear as long as they are one inch different in size. A +12 to +18 would be nice

So would 18x8 +32 18x9 +32 not be a very good set for an s14? And if not, could I use wheel spacers to correct it?

It's not the best, but yes you could correct it with spacers.
Thats kind of high for those sizes.
Something like +20 would be a bit better

i run 18X9 +12 front and rear on my S14... Rolled the wheel wells, didnt have to pull them any. And if you use a heat gun while rolling, you will not damage the paint

You could run 9+20 Front and 9+17 Rear w/o a Roll or Pull
