auto start/ alarm question

auto start/ alarm question

having some problems locating the correct wire for the auto start. according to the12volt.com it is one of the two white wires in the steering column however they are not the correct wires. The car is a 95 240. can someone please point me in the right direction.

sorry.. brainfart..

what I am looking for is the ignition wire to actually start the car. I am at a point where the car will crank but will not start because the ignition wires i have are the one that lose voltage on crank. i need the one that gets voltage on crank. thanks !

This should help you out a bit.


12volts white + ignition harness
Starter black/yellow + ignition harness
Second Starter black/white + ignition harness
Ignition black/red + ignition harness
Second Ignition
Third Ignition
Accessory white + ignition harness
Notes: When doing remote start, this wire must be isolated from the keyswitch with the accessory relay. See direct fax document #1077.
Second Accessory
Keysense
Power Lock lt. green/white - anti-theft module
Notes: The anti-theft module is located just above hood release cable in the drivers kick panel. Other wires at the anti-theft module are: 12V-white/red, ignition-green, ground-black, left door pin-gray/red, right door pin-blue, panic(horn and high beam)-yellow/green.
Power Unlock brown - anti-theft module
Notes: The anti-theft module is located just above hood release cable in the drivers kick panel. Other wires at the anti-theft module are: 12V-white/red, ignition-green, ground-black, left door pin-gray/red, right door pin-blue, panic(horn and high beam)-yellow/green.
Lock Motor
Unlock Motor
Parking Lights+ red/blue ignition harness
Notes: There are two (2) red/blue wires in the ignition harness, one is for parking lights and the other is for the right headlight.
Parking Lights-
Hazards
Turn Signal(L)
Turn Signal(R)
Reverse Light
Door Trigger red/white - harness in driver kick
Dome Supervision
Trunk/Hatch Pin red - anti-theft module
Notes: If not equipped with an anti-theft module, the red wire is located in a harness at the left trunk hinge.
Hood Pin yellow/black - anti-theft module
Notes: The anti-theft module is located just above hood release cable in the drivers kick panel. Other wires at the anti-theft module are: 12V-white/red, ignition-green, ground-black, left door pin-gray/red, right door pin-blue, panic(horn and high beam)-yellow/green.
Trunk/Hatch Release
Power Sliding Door
Factory Alarm Arm lt. green/red - anti-theft module
Notes: The anti-theft module is located just above hood release cable in the drivers kick panel. Other wires at the anti-theft module are: 12V-white/red, ignition-green, ground-black, left door pin-gray/red, right door pin-blue, panic(horn and high beam)-yellow/green.
Factory Alarm Disarm green/yellow - anti-theft module
Notes: The anti-theft module is located just above hood release cable in the drivers kick panel. Other wires at the anti-theft module are: 12V-white/red, ignition-green, ground-black, left door pin-gray/red, right door pin-blue, panic(horn and high beam)-yellow/green.
Disarm No Unlock
Tachometer yellow/red ac ECM in passenger kick
Wait to start
Brake Wire red/green + brake switch
Parking Brake
Horn Trigger yellow/green - anti-theft module

ok, it looks more confusing in the post then on the website. the remote start stuff is the first 7 lines, and you do have to use both starter wires. relay the second starter wire.
