Hatch Rear Speaker Active System?

Hi,
I read through the archives and have a question about bypassing the rear active system. Since the amp is only on the left side for both rear speakers, do I have to cut the wires for the right speaker (violet and pink) from the amp and then wire them all the way to the right speaker? or can i just cut somewhere below the right speakers? Thanks ahead.
