Life Expectancy of...

Speakers. I suppose all speakers have different life spans depending on manufacturer but on a general basis could anyone give me an idea? My 240 is equipped with eclipse 2 way and sony explodes3 way in the rear. In the hot summer days my stereo system begins to act up on me and im thinking its either my front components or something that deal with the headunit itself. My radio doesn't work but c.d.'s work nless they are burned which have shi**y quality. N-e ways just a general idea of how long speakers last (keep in mind im not blasting them out my window everyday just use them daily. Hope some of this made sense and for everything else that didnt make sense sorry LOL. thanks again.

i would say between a week and 5 years. I installed some new speakers in my mom's maxima about 3 years ago and they still sound great.

BTW get rid of the sony crap, it sucks. I speak from experience.

my sister now has the maxima. My mom got my grandpa's 94 lincoln town car. My grandpa bought a brand new toyota highlander.

Lincolns dont drift well with air suspension....

i've been thinking of picking up some pinoeer 3 way components for the front they sounded awesome and when i get enough cash i'll pick up the rears. once my speakers really start going out i'll just do that. Sony isn't too bad but i got my deck used. it's one of those motorized decks with the ghost face (when closed no buttons only a screen) i like it alot but it keeps acting up. Then yesterday i got pulled over for going 57 on a 40. (unfortunately my HUD is out so i have no cluse ho fast im going. ) apparently my judgement on my speed is off. I was running in 4th gear revving luil past 2k then boom cop status. YOu guys think 4th gear around 2k is 57 mph? I know its off topic but it's stuck on my mind. N-e ways thanks.
