manual to power door locks

whats goin on. i have an s13 coupe with maunal locks. i've gone to the junkyard a few times and ripped apart a few door panels already, and i pulled out the actuator from one of them, has anyone done this conversion before, if so i was wondering if i need to use the door panels from the donor car or somehow "adapt" my panels to fit the lock switches.? thanks your help will be much appreciated.

why dont y ou just put actuators in... much easier
or do you have the locks where you lock the drivers side, and it locks the passenger side also?

nope , my locks are just regular manual locks. i know how to just put actuators in, but what about my door panels, they dont have power lock switches they just have the manual locks. unless maybe im not understanding what an actuator does.

thanks bro

Buy a cheap crimestopper alarm, and that send a signal to activate factory power door locks off the remote. I just installed universal ebay door lock actuators and ran them off the alarm/remote(you need to add a realy for more power). No button inside the car to work them, but they lock and unlock with the remote and i love it.
