new 240sx..quick question

hey guys, so my friend bought a used 1991 240sx and the problem is that the original owner gave two keys to the car(one normal, and a spare) that key opens the glovebox, and starts the car....the problem is it wont unlock the driver door, passenger door,trunk...the key however will go in the lock it just wont turn...i was wondering if there is supposed to be another set of keys with the car? or do we now need a locksmith to change the door cylinders...we looked into keyless entry and are still going to get that in a alarm system(possibly viper system) but we want to know our possiblities and what we should do/if this is norma

uh... my 240 (by chance of luck) came with BOTH original keys, one is black and chunky, and the other one has a smaller, red head. The red key is a valet key, and usually it will unlock the driver's door (i dont know about pass. door) and works the igniton, it WONT unlock the glove box or trunk. Now, your problem seems to be the opposite, which leads me to believe that somone has had the locks changed in the car, and lost that key.

Just my 2 cents
