radar detecter

radar detecter

i was woundering if anyone could help me out im trying to hardwire my radar detecter so that the cord isnt in my way all the time..
i heard you can wirer it straight to the battery with a switch but im not to sure..

any suggetions will help thanks..

if you look in the fuse box there is a fuse for the ignition. you can wrap the positve around that and plug it back in like normal. dont forget to ground. or, like on my car the 12 volt is only on when the car is on,,,so you can wire it into that as well just run the wire through your dash trim.
i personally went with the fude idea. i ran the wire up my kick panel and through my pillar post. to the spot write above my rear view mirror to the radar detector. i also put it on the passenger side of the rear view mirror so cops couldnt see it so easy
