240s have power locks unless its a base model. Just install that **** yourself, if you have a base model just get an aftermarket power lock actuator. http://commandoalarms.com/itm10005.htm. Its not that expensive.

Oh and, when I said "your" I didn't personally mean you. Just in general lol

and yes, it would be louder. Better sounding? In the ears of the beholder, so to speak

lol, like 20 times louder. You'll feel the exhaust vibrations in the car.

installing keyless entry actuators is a piece of cake and you can get them from jcwhitney for under $80, if your alarm allows for such an addition. i've had these same actuators since about april of 2000 and have not had any problems with them at all.

the ones ry linked are almost like the ones i have but cheaper (price wise) and the relay is different. i'd get those instead because everything else is identical but cant vouch for them though.

Btw, if you're going to install door lock actuators, you're going to need a relay. I forget the model number off the top of my head, but you can get it from DEI. It's pretty cheap.

The hardest part about doing actuators is running the wiring through the door and into the car. Make sure not to use something too sharp if you're going to fish them through so you don't accidentally puncture some other wiring.

If you need more specifics on alarms or how the relays work, let me know. :]
