Desoto Drift Event Official Aftermath Thread

OMG!!

First let me start of by thanking everyone who came out and participated in this event. The turn out was amazing, way, way, way over all of our expectations. I know no one likes reading long post, but please bare with me on this, I have a lot to get out. Everyone did an excellent job last night, spectators included. There was very little garbage left in the pit area afterwards, thank you. Drivers all did very well, everyone did a great job fallowing the rules. I hope everyone had a ton of fun. This track has a lot of potential for practice and even event. I have to apologize for things getting a little out of hand leading up to the actually competition portion, it was poor planning on our part, and next time, its not going to happen. The event shouldn’t have gone on that long, but it did and I apologize. Thanks to Bill Sherman, Blake Fuller, Nick Hogan, and Jason Jiovani (yea I probably spelled your name wrong) for there insane tandem demos to keep everyone pepped up while the chaos was taking place behind the scenes.
Official results for the actual judged portion of the competition are as fallows.
1. Jeremy Lowe
2. Laurentz Zulaica
3. Brett Collins
4. Charlie Thompson

Please if you have any Photos of videos from the event post them in this thread, or link them.
A few quick points I need to touch on for the next event or practice or what not.
Please make sure your battery is secured!!
Also please if you are spectating we can not have you on the fence in the stands
Please be curtious and put your garbage in the garbage cans, everyone did a good job, but there was still some left laying around.
This venue is going to be an awesome place for us, I never expected them to have the concession stand open which in my book is a huge bonus, we all get hungry and thirsty at these events especially when they go on for 7 hours. I personally think this is a HUGE step for florida drifting, mainly the central Florida region.
Tell us what you guys think. Im going to try and get an online guest book together for people to sign and leave comments, suggestions, or complaints, and also let us know which forum you are from. Please if you have any complaints or suggestions please pm them to either my self or team p33lout or stocksc300. I apologize for this post being a giant mess im still tired from last night and thought I could get all my points across in a nice fashion but I failed. But anyways ill stop talking and let the mayhem begin!
Also please note that practices are now going to sundays and not thursdays, there will be no more thursday practices only sundays. And the next even is september 16th!

this was probably one of the best events ive seen in a long long time

Thumbs up Car park 240's.

Hi; just happened to be on vacation in Florida so I stopped by for Drift Night! Too bad my 240 is in Canada...

Anyway I snapped some photos of 240's in the parking lot, special mention goes to some really clean Sil80's.

Thanks for putting on a great event!
