This is my second auto transmission the first one slipped while shifting from first throught third and never shifted into 4th gear... then one night it just stopped working in third like i would hear it shift all the way to third but when it got into third it would just rev up when i hit the gas.. i changed it out this weekend but now its still not going into 4th gear and it shifts hard from 1st to 3rd... any ideas on what it could be thanks in advance!!!!

have you checked the oil level? it could be a number of things but too often it's just the result of being low on oil or the filter needing to be replaced.

Oil levels are all fine it.. idk its pissin me off cuz it just wont go into 4th or overdrive

 

if you can provide more information we'd be able to better diagnose the problem. but for now with the engine off are you able to go from park, to n, r,d, and so back without any trouble?

 

with the motor off i can do all of that if the accesories are on but not if its off .. wat kind of info do you need

 

without actually looking at it myself i just don't know what else to tell you. it seem that the transmissions needs to get looked at by a mechanic.
