my brother bought a 96 240 with an iffly clutch...


we found OEM clutch kits for 130 ...


but what other brands do u reccomend...

oem replica or performance clutch

any info is welcome

 

Since you have to replace the clutch, might as well upgrade

 

i agree. upgrade is always better.

 

obviously ... but not major engine work will be done ... and he is 16 years old paying for it himself ... soo unless there is a decent upgreade for around that price... OEM it is...

A couple people here have upgraded there clutches, It isnt that more expensive over a OEM clutch

 

Even a stage 1 clutch isn't that much more than an OEM, and if you think about it labor $$ is the same for either. Exedy is like $112+shipping whereas OEM I've seen for like $109 or something.

 

I bought an exedy, heard good reviews, i'll see when the 5 speed swap is done in april.
