Anyone know???
Well i just swapped a j30 lsd into my '89 and also some rear subframe spacers..now whenever i drive the car maked a clunking/clicking sound while maintaining a constant speed. It doesnt do it while accelerating or if im in neutral but only while in staying at a constant speed or lightly hitting the gas.... Anyone have any ideas of what this could be?

i could be wrong but your lsd gears are locking. Mine don't do it on constant speed tho. It only happens when i'm turning or when i hit hard bumps.
Try using Motul gear oil on your diff. I hear its pretty good on vlsd's for locking.

Thats what i was thinking too, but why does it only do it while maintaining a constant speed and not under accel/deceleration? I can feel it to in the car, like it may be something with the diff or something..

i thought the subframe spacers are supposed to get rid of the clunk sound. It's a different clunk sound too. If its a deep multiple click sound *click click click*.. its your diff. If its a clunk like its bottoming out *clunk!*.. it could be your spacers. Eitherway, i have no idea why it would only happen on constant speed.
Quick question, have you put in fresh gear oil when you did the swap?

Yea its a click click click sound, not the subframe, the spacers did help that sound, and yes i used fresh gear oil. Im pretty sure its the diff. Im taking it back apart tomorrow to double check everything. I did look at it and it appears the one of the gear thing (sorry i dunno the real name) sticking towards the passenger axle is out a few centimeters and the otherside is not, so hopefully thats the problem....
