ok so i read the other forum on how to do the swap and the only part was unclear to me was the wiring bit. can anyone tell me EXACTLY wat needs to be done to get the speedo working, the reverse lights, how to wire up the gear sensors, exactly wat relay needs to be looped to make the car start, and how to wire the shifter right so the key doesnt stick? o and will an s14 driveshaft fit in the s13? thanks!

what motor is going in the s13? I think a s14 M/T drive shaft will fit in an s13. the lower harness needs to be swaped for the speedo to work if it is a A/T - M/T swap. you need to bypass the neutral safty switch for the car to start w/ the key, the revers light's can be routed to a switch.

im putting it on my stock ka-e. good to hear that the driveshaft will fit. so all i need is that one harness? sounds good. wat would happen if i didnt hook up those gear sensors? and are they just plug in? thanks.

yes you only need the lower harness, nothing would happen if you didn't hook up the gear sensors... i pluged them in for the hell of it because i dindn't know what one's were what.

you only need the "half shaft" from the drive shaft, it goes from the trans to just past the bearing.

k i got everything figured out now all i need to knwo is how to wire that thing on the shifter so the key doesnt stick in the ignition. thanks man uve been a big help.

do i need to plug anything into those two harnesses on the clutch pedal assembly? o, and is the speed sensor plug and play or do i have to modify it?
