When I drive fast and shift fast my second gear makes a grinding noise. Shifting form first to second makes the noise. and downshifting from third also makes the noise. When i dive soft or normal it doesnt make the noise. So what do you people think?

 

i have the same problem lol. but it seems like once my car gets warmed up it doesnt do it.. it doesnt hurt anything so i just let it go..

 

yea but even after it warms up it does it. It only started to happen after my clutch burned out and i replaced it and now it makes the sound. it hurts me

 

lol i dunno ask someone who knows what they are talkin about with that.. im interested to see what the solution is lol

 

i had a big problem with down shifting it would grind from 5th to 4th and it seemed like anytime i shifted above 4k...so i had my syncros replaced and the problem is gone...i would say pull the tranny and get those syncros fixed.

 

how much it cost you for that
