clunking noise... when, shifting under deceleration
I just bought a '96 240sx SE.
It has 85k miles, and it drives pretty good for a 9 year old car.
One problem that I noticed is that when I am shifting (i.e. 2nd -> 3rd) while the car decelerates, the rear diff area makes a clunking noise.
It only happens when I'm off throttle (i.e. weight shifting forward). It never happens when I'm on the throttle (i.e. weight shifted to the rear wheels).
It also happens when I'm in a gear (i.e. 4th), and cruising at a constant speed... then when I let off the gas quickly, it makes a clunking noise.
Is there a bushing on the rear diff? Anything that I should look for when I jack up the car?
TIA.

p.s. Do they sell factory service manual somewhere on the web? (i.e. Helms or Bentley's)
