sorry had to vent a little. When I got my 240 coupe people would like feel sorry for me because I didn’t get the all mighty hatchback. “cool you got a 240. awwwwww too bad its not a hatchback….” – friends

however, i suppose that i'm a wee bit ricer at heart (as fas as form over function) because i just actually like the lines of the hatch. i like the way the roofline plunges down toward that sexy rounded ***.
but that's just me.
however, on the flip side, i prefer the look of the AE86 coupe over the hatch. go figure...?

yea i was at a friends party and me and some friends were talking about our cars and this other guy hears us talking about my car and he goes "so thats your 240 out there?" me: "yea.."
him:"yea thats pretty kool.., to bad its not a fastback cuz then if you did the front end conversion it would be a silvia." me: "huh?"
him: "yea the coupe is sumthin else in japan only the fastback is the silvia." me: :riiight. :me and my buddys laugh: more like the coupe is a silvia and the fastback is a 180sx." him:" oh yea thats what i thought it was." so my buddy askes "so what do you drive?" him: acura integra ls-r v-tec." thinks to self (they never made an ls-r let alone a ls with vtec.) so we go out to check out our cars and his is an auto ls with a big *** muffler on it and under the hood he had a short ram intake on a NON-vtec engine.
me n my buddys keep our mouths shut. so we go to look at mine and i tell him its totally stock and he wants to see under the hood cuz he thinks im lying so i show him its totally stock. what does he say........oh i could totally take you.......tipical honda driver.
needless to say my stock s13 coupe with and auto ate him up later that night! lol

i think everybody had to deal with people like that. everybody that sees my car (totaly stock by the way) thinks i'm a drifter. it's so hard to explain to some people that drifting isn't my thing. then they go on saying its fast like in initial d or some other theory that cooked up in their ricer brain. i usually try to change the subject and let them ramble on about their car or racing stories, it's just easier that way...
