I KEEP misshifting with my B&M

From 1st to second anywhere above 6000 rpms when i push the clutch in and pull the stick out it spits it out. When i go to put it into second the protector gate thing won't lwt it go in resulting in me losing every race soo far.

With the stock shifter it would spit it out but i could still get to second. What the hell is going on?

It did it from second to third yesterday by the way. (6800 rpms)

I Lost to a FOCUS! help me out here

the reason you are misshifing is beacuse short shifters take away feeling in your throw... its kinda like ****ing with a condom ya get the baisc feel but all the little details are gone
