Install AT

Ok my AT is going out, as it seems most 240s do, but I dont want to trash the car i love it. I would like to buy a new AT or rebuild and install it myself, depending on the difficulty level. Does anybody know where i can go to get instructions on doign this? or is there anybody that has done it and can give me some info on it, how hard to do it, the length of time to do it, etc. Thanks.
