Lsd locking or unlocking

hey

im looking at getting an oem s14 lsd. when i am searching i keep getting asked if i want a locking one or an unlocking one. i would think that i want a locking one. also its asks for abs or not

i dont have abs so of course im not going to get one with it.

any suggestions here. its coming off a 96 240
it also keeps asking me if i am looking for a differential/ carrier then it calls it a raer axel

any help?

Jay

1st are you using car-part.com, cuz this sounds familiar. 2nd you want locking. And it wouldn't be a lsd if it weren't locking. Unlocking is an open diff(1 wheel spinning)
3rd i believe all s14 vlsd's were for abs cars(correct me if I'm wrong) 4th those prices on those web sites are usually over priced.

If you're actually serious about getting a VLSD, just buy one used from someone else on the boards - 1, it's not worth it in the first place, and 2. it's not worth the $$$ you'll get charged for a brand new or OEM replacement VLSD.
