New Clutch

My friend finally blew out his clutch, it is slipping like crazy now. He put it in second instead of 4th for a split second and now it slips almost too much to be driveable. He has a 89 240sx with 240,000 miles on it, so if it is the stock clutch(I doubt it is) then it shouldnt have lasted this long :P

Now, are the 89-98 clutches the same? I was under the impression they were, but just wanted to make sure. And anyone have any recommendations, cause it is pointless to go OEM with anything nowadays. I am kinda partial to ACT clutches, but he is on somewhat of a budget so we will probably settle with an Exedy?
