Wasup everyone, Im new here I have a question though. My mother bought a 91 240SX a few weeks back and I think it has tranny problems.. When you floor it from a stop or anytime during motion, the tranny downshifts and revs hard like its picking up speed but it doesnt. It just make's noise like it is.. Now Im not too familiar with auto's and neither is my mother because this is like the first automatic car that either of us has owned or driven.. Is this normal or is the tranny going bad ??

 

so it just sorta revs? sounds like the tranny is going bad to me

 

^^ Yea it revs and very, very slowly picks up speed.. Other than that the transmission shifts fine..... I've been trying to find time to get that problem looked at for her.. Thanks for the input though..
