wow mods.... i didn't know this was a off topic thread i thought i posted this up in the trans/ driveline section... so maybe some input towards my questions or concerns instead of your bs..... not trying to be a jerk but you guys yell at other newbies that post up the same stuff you guys just did so don't jack my thread... even tho you are keeping it alive in the new posts section so its whatever..... enjoy

Dude, looking back, it's only 3 posts in a row, maybe 4. Then 5 over all that got off topic. And if I'm reading this correctly, it looks as if your issue is resolved or at least you're closer to finding a resolution to your issue. Am I mistaken?

UPDATE: well guys i got time to change the fluid in my transmission.... and i drained the fluid and noticed debris on the magnet attached to the drain plug... and to my surprise i found very small like less than 1/4" needle bearings and also a piece that looked to be a small cage for the bearings as well... even tho i found this i proceeded to change the fluid... which was a pain i had to by a "fluid pump" from walamrt to hand pump the gear oil into the tranny... it was a slow process as to be expected...
Well it still makes the noises i can't tell if its any quieter than before since i haven't driven it for a month but its def still noisy... so im thinking now the input shaft bearing or output shaft bearing has come apart... so now it looks like im in the market for another transmission... or some kind of rebuild kit..? soo guys let me know how long you think i can drive it like this before it just stops dead in the water?? also correct me if i am wrong but aren't all 240 maunal transmissions the same?? or is it different from year to year?? thanks for any more help on this guys!!!

-Eric
