Suspension Noises

I have a 96 SE with a stock suspension set-up (except for a strut bar) and when I go over large bumps/dips etc. I can hear a horrible noise coming from the front suspension. The sound is most audible in the morning particularily when its cold out, or when the car has not been driven in a while. When the tempature goes up the sound can barely be heard. It sounds almost like a rubbing or a creaking noise, has anyone else encountered this same problem or have any insight on what might be the cause?

is it like a poping noise? if so, some bushing(s) is f*cked. replace w/ polyurethane.

make sure all your bushings are in proper order... maybe some of them are worn out or broken.

cold weather tends to make things make funny noises. Just give everything a good go through. You probably have worn parts somewhere.
