93' KA24DE w/ a KA24E transmission swap. all gears, including reverse worked since the swap was completed a month ago. rear left bolt on the shift box is missing, and it's been leaking gear lube for a a little bit now. suddenly yesterday it wouldn't go into reverse. i replenished the gear lube, and it still won't go in. What could it be, besides just swapping in a new tranny...? Worst case scenario, i'll do it but i don't the gear is "shot" persay. Thanks guys. Mikhail.

 

might be syncro? but you can always take it to a shop

 

possibly syncro i shall check it out, but i would simply pull a tranny from the yard and swap it before i took it to a shop.
