vibration at low and high speeds

can any one help, Man i am getting vibration in the rearend at low to stop. it feels like a knot in the tire but its not.
I jacked up the rear and put it in gear and looked for any signs of vibrating in the drive shaft but did not see any. I could feel it vibrating when i had it jacked up and in gear , free spining the tires.
HELP ANY ONE

Do you mean, you had the car running in gear while jacked up? or just free-hand rotating the wheel?

try going to a tire place and see if one (or both) of the rims are balanced and not warped.

I had it in drive while it was on jack stands.

could be warped brake rotors. Mine had this problem and my car had a good shake to it. Especially when applying the brakes.

well @ 65-75, that means you need an alignment. when did you have it done last?

The whole shaking @ that slow, is it coming from the front or rear? Normally shakes like that when that slow are from the engine, not the wheels. Happen when you are turning? just going straight, or what? very interesting.
