Hi guys, i am gonna do the 1st oil change for my Sr20det, also i want to upgrade my fuel filter to 300zx one. My question is which Oil filter is prefered by you guys that is available in the US? and which year model of 300zx fuel filter is suggested? Thanks

question 1: search. no seriously, there's a pretty big oil thread running around here somewhere. some say Redline, others Mobil 1, and yet others say Penzoil. read up on it there for more info...

question 2: Z32 (or 91-96 rounded body).

also, i'm thinking that the all the hubbub about oil that i remember reading wasn't in a dedicated thread, but maybe in the KA-T vs SR20DET thread. i dunno, but hopefully this has helped in some way...

all of my friends who have turbo'ed cars swear by mobil 1, but as long as its a quality oil it should be fine

Mobil 1 and Z32 filter are what my friend has been using for over a year now..

yeah basically just make sure you are going 10w30...your bearings will love you
