Dude, I hope you are rich. The RB26 will barely fit into the usdm 240 chassis. If you do install this, put on a rb25 transmission that is rear wheel drive.

Do you know how much work(and money and time)will have to be put into a 240sx in order to be 4WD!? Pointless to me, if you really want to do the RB26 swap then check out mckinneymotorsports.com You need to buy a RB25 oil pan and RB25 trans and possible custom driveshaft in order to fit and work properly.

you may as well buy a skyline R32 GTS-4 or GTR, if you want AWD

x2 seriously, this has been discussed before. the S chassis was NEVER intended to have AWD/4WD. if it was, it would have been already. plain and simple. and for the buttloads of cash it'll take to make that happen, u'd be better off getting an R32 GT-R from Motorex or something. unless u just wanna do it for the 'cool' or 'different' factor...

You will need to have a complete set of front suspension custom built to accomidate the ft drive axles, not to mention possibly notching and reinforcing the frame rails to allow the axles to pass. I was looking into this and decided that the 240 is not a good candidate for the AWD setup.

^^^ The RB25 trans fits on the RB26, and is needed. Also the RB25 oil pan is needed
