hey guys i just got done putting on my new turbo gt2560r(gt28) and i had bought a 300zx maf used from ebay, i took my car for a ride then 5 minutes latr it didnt want to start and if it did it would bog right away and die barely hitting 200rpms, now im pretty sure the maf is bad causing it to send to much fuel and killng the engine, i did a compression test 160 cyl, 1,2,3 and 170 cyl 4, so pretty much normal, i checkd the injectors no flooding occuring, so, what do you guys think, after doing the injectors, i let my car sit to get all the gas out, now my car starts and idles but very low-500rpms, and badly(boggin, stutering and the moment i give it any gas it dies, whats wrong bad maf? oh and i know its not bad wiring the car ran before with the maf on so i think the thing took a...
injectors have been in for a while and no i dont not have a safc for the maf yet, purchasing soon, i had put the maf/injectors and ecu in at the same time, ran the car it had run fine, ended up needing to get a dif turbo due to a oil leak on the other, swapped turbos started it up took it for a ride and then my problem started, but the maf had run fine originally
well i order a new maf from autozone for a z32 turbo so that comes in on wednesday once thats in ill let you guys kno its just such a pain i havent drivn my car really in like 2 months, and it just seems like its one problem after another but thanks for the advice, are you supposed to have a safc with a different maf?
yea let us know once the new maf is in, well generally you need a safc so you can control your injectors and change your maf settings, but if your ecu was tuned for the maf/injectors maybe not. How was your ecu tuned?
