Can It Be Done***
I just bought a 97 240 with the sole purpose of making into a VERY FAST CAR. I want to swap a SR20DET S15 motor into the car. The car is an automatics ofcourse it wont be after the swap but i just want to knwo can it be done and how hard is it going to be compared to a swap with an SR20DET s13 is this even the best decison to get the most power. PLEASE I NEED ANSWERS SOON!

The SR20 is an SR20.
None of the s13 (USDM) come with the SR20 stock. It's the KA24E. Your car however, came with the KA24DE. So, you must be talking about the S13 in Japan?! I'm kind of confused at this entire post.

dude if u want a fast car skip the sr and go rb and grow some torque in between ur legs and between the S15 sr and the S13 sr if u r gonna change everything in the motor it doesnt matter cause its the same thing and i also dont know (i never bothered to search) is the S15 sr bolts on to any SR tranny because the 6speed S15 tranny SUX!! its weak P.S go easy on him he has 3 posts and welcome!!
