You know this is an expensive swap right?

If the motor is expensive to you, then the swap is way out of your ballpark.
But, if you have like 10 grand sitting around rotting... I vote get it done right!

the rb20 swap isint to bad i managed to spend just under 3k for my swap, and i dont seem to have any problem finding parts, performance or general maintenance parts. and as for your top speed question the top of 5th gear is only like 110-112 the ecu will cut it out at 117 anyways. and personally its kinda hard to have both a drag and drift car, i think its either one or the other

yeah the 240 isnt realy a high speed car if you want a car that goes faster get a supra. not to change the subject but they a geared for higher speed. they are not cheap and you can also do engine swaps to them you can also drift them parts are just more expensive.

its a big engine on a small car. it will take a good amount of fabrication that only a good shop can do. if you dont have the money just go for a RB20 and turbo it up

the rb26 requires, a motor mount kit, an rb25 transmission (because the 26 tranny is awd and wont work unless you wanna make ur 240 awd) an rb25 oil pan, you will need to make spacers for your sway bar so it will clear the oil pan, you will probably have to get your wiring harness set up by someone else (i don't recommend trying it yourself) you will have to get a drive shaft made, and defiantly will need a stronger rear end and much beefier axles. and of course you cannot forget all the general maintenance before you put it in, things like checking the timing belt, water pump, clutch, and i know for a fact that the 26s have an issue with the crank collar where it leaks oil at high rpms, so you will want to replace that. and that is just the **** you need to get the motor in the car, so basically man, theres A LOT of **** your gonna have to worry about and the motorset itself will run you anywhere from 4-5 grand. if you want any more info let me know

the ppl you know are not gonna charge you to put it in its just gonna cost u 3400 for it total? cmon man you just heard all the mods u have to do to make it work...rb25 oilpan, tranny, stronger driveshafts, mantinence before actually installing it...custom motor mount kit...cmon bro...be real. just stick to your ka or if your really serious about swapping a motor in and you have 3400 just get an sr that you really can get installed for that price and you will be set.
