ok, im kind of new to this so the question might b a pretty pointless one! Im thinking of buying a 240sx and swapping in an sr20det and doing a silvia conversion. ANYWAYS my question is this; is there any advantage to getting a 91 model compared to an 89/90?

Yes, 91+ has the Power steering lines in the correct place and doesnt require to be modded. The 89-90 require the modding of the Lines.

 

But its not hard at all to do the p/s swap on a 89/90. All you have to do is replace the P/s reservoir from the left side to the right side....Here check is out
