Is this a good deal or not. I saw engine/transmission/ECU--the complete swap for around $2000 without labor of course, so this seems kind of steep. Are they charging more for the downpipe and fuel pump? What did the rest of you guys spend on a basic SR20 swap?

 

I assume this is one of those played out questions and no one is going to provide any input.

 

Dude if you hav a 00 altima y u want an s13? If you get the car cheap i.e. $1000 and the engine trans even cheaper $1500, youll still need 1000-1500 dollars in labor to swap the hardware. and those are cheap prices for car and motor/trans. U might be able to swap it for 800 butit'll be a s*&$ job. How many miles on new motor? Does it have an aftermarket clutch?

 

I'm getting rid of the Altima and buying the S13. More than likely the engine has around 20 to 50k miles on it. I don't know if it has an aftermarket clutch, it does not state that on the site.
I live in England at the moment and I'm considering just buying a silvia or 200sx but I don't know how much it will be to get the conversions done when it gets back to the states.
