Sorry if this has been posted already. I just joined the forum earlier today. I have an 1989 240 Fastback. I was wondering since I am on a budget and wan'na know about hom much I will be spending if anyone cna provide me with a list of other parts I will need not counting the engine for an SR20DET swap. I will shop around for prices I just need a list of time I will definatly need so I can start figuring out what it's gon'na run me.

It really depends on the skills you have and the parts and prices you pay... My whoel car (blown motor) cost $800 and another $800 for the sr20de... Fabbed intercooler piping, did the wiring, installed injectors, manual swap, fuel pump etc etc. Look around in the For Sale section and Ebay. I think the total to build the whole car was about $2700... remember that's with a sr20de engine though. Fast with a turbo, because of the higher compression, but i cant upgrade turbos unless i buidl the engine now (poop) Also, search the forums and you will find all the info you need on the parts and doing the swap
