Question Ka24e removal help

Im just wondering what needs to be done in order to get the engine out, without cutting the wiring harness. It seems impossible to disconnect some of the plugs. Help is greatly appreciated, Thanks
Ben

Just remove everything that goes from the chasis to the engine, it takes some time but its not too hard. There should be no need to cut the harness at all.

^^So do i need to basically take out the front dash, disconnect the harness from the ecu, and pull it through the firewall, or is this a copmletely different way?

You can just disconnect the harness from the engine and pull it, theres no need to remove the dash and stuff. What engine are you swapping into the car?

Im not planning on swapping, im just taking out the motor to use for parts, or possible rebuild. The car is beat (not even worth fixing) and planning to use it as a parts car or part out, well see how things pan out.

You should be fine then just disconnecting all plugs, A/C lines, fuel lines, and pulling it. Once you start the process you'll find thats it alot easier than it even looks, shouldn't take too long at all.
