yeah i'm searching the other night for an rb20det and I end up finding an RB30DET and this one page said ohh yeah just take rb25 head and bolt it down to the rb30det block.. first i'm thinking mmmm how about no cuz i never herd of a damn rb30det.. lol i don't even see rb30det's around to buy expect for the rb20/25/and 26. .... so i ask WTF is a damn RB30DET??? hahaha

 

unless its some type of a stroker kit deal to up the 20/25/26 to an rb30 like its done with ca18det and their stroker kit for it to be an ca20det???

In Australia in perticular they had an RB30E and RB30ET meaning SOHC.

You take the R32 RB25DE head(no VVT) and install it on the block, do a little machining to make it all happen, install an R33 RB25DET exhaust mani & turbo and away you go.
