motor choices

i only recently bought my 240, great shape but blown motor. i already have a 91 300zx it was originaly n/a but i swapped 4 the vg30dett. but now i have a perfectly good vg30 just sittin around. would it fit in a 240? would mounts line up? is it even worth it to try? i know what ur gonna say sr20 rb20...but who doesnt do that to a 240? id like to have something diffferent.

I seen the TT done once, but I think you probablly have to custom fab mounts and driveshaft. That would be pretty cool bro.

Moving this to the "Engine Swaps" section.

With enough money, time, fabrication anything is possible. The VG30DETT swap into a 240sx has been done before.

yea a good amount of fabrication, def not worth it IMO...that would def be the last motor that would go into my car

thanks for input theres a nissan specialist shop in my area ill c if they can do anything about the mounts if it is gonna b a big hassle F@#$ it i can afford a rb20 but not alot of custom fab work.

for the amount of time/money/fabrication it take to get that engine in there i'd say it's not worth it.
