Need suggestions on this

I began the task of installing the new exhaust, and ran into a problem from the get go.

As of now it appears that my down pipe had been made incorrectly. When bolted up to the dump pipe it doesn't follow the intended exhaust route, it curves under the tranny and exits on the passenger side of the car.

I am almost positive that the down pipe is to blame for this. I am considering that since I am using an after market exhaust header and dump pipe that there is a chance its not just the down pipe.

I compared the aftermarket dump pipe with the original, and the bolt pattern are all identical, so I'm ruling that out.

My turbo mounts to the header in usual fashion with no offsetting angle or slant.... so I would assume its safe to say its definitely the down pipe.

The kick in the nuts part of this, is that this was purchased from ebay and now the the seller is no longer a registered user, and also closed his paypal account. So this thing is mine for good.

I'm going to try and have this thing reworked to have the flange rotated and re-welded on to get the correct angle.

If there something I'm missing, let me know, cause I would hate to blame the down pipe if its someone else.

you could get a custom exhaust made to fit it, and just use your muff if you have one.

I have everything from the catback. The down pipe is all I need.
