If you wanted to, you could sell your engine that is in your car now and do the swap for the SR20. As long as the engine you have now is in good condition you should not have a problem selling it for a good price!

o.k not to come off like a mr know it all, but i thought
VQ30DE= 190hp-205tq (95-99 maxima)
VQ30DE-K= 222hp and ???tq (00-01maxima)
VQ30DE-K= 227hp and ???tq (00-01anniversary edition maxima)
VQ35DE= 255hp and IIRC 247tq (02-03 maxima motor)
VQ35DE= 240hp and ???tq (altima motor)
VQ35DE= 260hp and ???tq (altima SE-R motor) ect...
i've owned (2) 95 maxima's (VQ30DE) and a current 2000 (VQ30DE-K) also was looking into a 2K2 (VQ35DE)... oops werent even talking about maxima's
