please help with cold start problem

I have a 91 s13 with a sr20det. When its cold it start but does not stay on. If i press on the gas and let the engine get warm it runs good. Why doesnt it idle when its cold?
Please help.
This problem is driving me nuts!

coolant temp sensor might be bad.
iacv might be bad
ficd might be bad
wiring might be bad

Any ECU codes?

could even be a vaccum leak.
