Question ignition problem? car wont start...advice please.

I have 2 240sx's. I just swapped a 96 ka24de into one and it wasnt getting spark so i tried pulling the distributor off the running car to see if that was the problem. That didnt help and to make matters worse now the car it came off wont start anymore either. How can this be? I did the cheap stuff(cap, rotor, spark plugs) but it didnt help. I tried 2 sets of used wires and 2 used coils, even another used distributor. Before i spend $150 on a new coil i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what might be wrong. I already checked all the fuses. Its also getting plenty of fuel.

Download an FSM, it'll have all info you need on timing.

haha like a honda, man life for you is about to change if thats what youve been workin on your whole life

turn the rotor to plug number one on the cap and insert, it would help to have the valve cover off so that you can cheack the marks to see if they line up properly, for this info look at the fsm bryan gave you..also i know its obvious but make sure battery is good too
