wow finally someone with some sense. i have been reading these posts since this argument was put on the thread. and it also seems to be the biggest argument on this site. this guy is right, its your time and money invested. dont do what someone else tells you is the best. take some time and research the **** yourself. do what in your mind fells right. you can take almost take any engine and make it fast. with the money that is. but no matter the outcome, when you have put your time into it, you can look back and say it was worth it. thats when you know you are a real enthusiast. not some make shaft trend setter.
and if that is not good enough. why not build both. so that you can say you have the best of both worlds. and you can post your time slips for both cars and not **** everyone else off. just my $.02. whatever the case good luck.

Hmm, living in Japan and owning all of the above cars I have to say they are all about even in the end. Yeah, one is bigger, one lighter, one more torque, HP, all depends on how YOU build it. In my opinion the RB is a better all around engine for power but I chose the Sr in the end since the parts at the current time are so much cheaper. You should know by now that dyno slips mean nothing on the net. I could make you a dyno slip on my computer and you would not know the diffrence. I would be more concerned about reliability, availability, and cost of replacement parts. Just my opinion though.

I saw a some austrailian dyno pulls of a stock RB20 pull 316whp with the only mods being a T3, walbro pump, and 3" DP exhaust. he was running 16 PSI which was about the limit of the stock injectors.
