rb25det smog questions, not the common ones....

i have a friend that does smog, so visual is absolutly no problem
and from what i remember reading the rb25 will pass the sniffer, with a cat of course, let me know if im wrong on that part

my real question is wut else is involved in a smog test, i never really pay any attention while my friend does it, i jus got a lil worried cuz someone mention, timing and compression test, the computer will recognize thats its not a 4 cylinder and will fail, IIRC i've never seen any smog test that involves that type of inspection, sounds really strange and jus call me stupid for askin if im completly wrong, but hey we all need to learn stupid things sometime

Compression check? Doesn't sound right to me.

As for the RB25 passing smog w/ a cat...not 100% sure. I know I have heard of RB20 passing the sniffer.

It's all a very fuzzy area. Keep us updated on how well RBs pass sniffers in California. Those rolling smog check things scare me.
