Question These bulbs, which ones?

http://www.autothing.com/Products/No...okya-intro.htm

I'm looking to get a couple of these bulbs for my upcoming 240sx project. Since I know nothing about lighting I was wondering if you guys knew which ones to go with (In terms of wattage). Because I don't want to do this the wrong way and have bulbs burn out or wires short because I was a dumbass and picked the wrong bulbs.

I plan on running these with some sleepy eyes on a white 91 240sx. My friend has them on his explorer and they are really nice, kind of have that HID hue to them.

Sorry if this has been covered before, let me know if you'd rather I close the thread and search later when I have more time.

i've known severval people that have used nokya bulbs. normally they last for 1-6months. not that great if you ask me. now maybe its the cold/winter..... well when it gets to that time of the year anyway. thats what i've seen with the MAJORITY of nokya bulbs. every once in a while you'll get lucky and they'll last 9+months. then again for the price you can always give them a try.

If you want better lighting go with an H4 conversion, that's the best way to go if you're keeping the pop-ups. Don't buy into the "HID" conversion kits, they're fodder, and I've yet to see one that was legal and/or NOT discontinued through pressure from the DOT.

I think the H4's can be had in different temps too, as color seems to be what you're mostly interested in, bare in mind that no bulb is bright enough for night driving with the eyes in sleepy position (hopefully u already knew that, but you'd be amazed how many ppl I've seen ask that question).

H4 conversion:

hope that helps!

Thanks, that helps a bunch.
I wasn't thinking about it at the time but I guess that is kinda ricey (though they look good on my friend's explorer).

I'll be looking into the H4 conversion and I was planning on setting up the headlights in a kind of 'mid sleepylights' angle so they would have a very slight downward tilt but still remain fully effective at night.... That should work right?

Wrong, Ive driven many times in sleepyy mode and you can't see crap unless they're completely up or at least 80% up. And even then, lighting is limited. Bets thing to do, get the H4 conversion at your local Autozone. 40 bucks for the pair, which is DOT approves is not a bad deal.
